Snapdragon 835 Specs LEAKED and First Phone To Use it!

As you know, smartphones are quickly becoming our main web and social platform, and we need more and more performance with better battery life!

Industry leader in Smartphone SoCs(system-on-a-chip)Qualcomm is about the debut the Snadpragon 835 in CES 2017, but we have the specs(thanks to our colleagues from videocardz.com) for you a few days in advance!

The Snapdragon 835 is expected to power devices like Samsung S8, Xiaomi Mi6 and LG G6 this year, but you'll be surprised who is going to offer the first phone with it!(read on)

Turns out Snapdragon 835 will be an Octa-Core design, adding 4 more cores to the already super-fast Snapdragon 821 and getting a GPU upgrade to Adreno 540!

The chip will also be built on the newer 10nm(size of a signle transistor) design, allowing Qualcomm to fit 4 more CPU cores using the new Kryo 280 CPU architecture.

Four cores will be used for Performance@ 2.45GHz and Four more will be for efficiency@ 1.95GHz, nearly doubling both single and multi-threaded performance from the Snadpragon 821, while being more power efficient!

In fact, Qualcomm have stated that the Snapdragon 835 will be mre power efficient than the Snapdragon 820, so you'll get more performance with better battery life.

And just to show how good chips have become in recent years, Qualcomm have stated that the Snapdragon 835 has 50% better efficiency than the Snapdragon 801 that was the company's most successful chip to date.

So, in 4 years performance has jumped 5 times, and power consumption is reduced in half.

Not too shaby.

In addition to all that Quick Charge 4.0 will be able to fully charge your next flagship in underr an hour from 0-100% with battery sizes between 3000-3500mAh.

Making sure you have at least a day out of your device if you pop it for a quick 20-30min charge.

Which company will be the first to use Snapdragon 835? If you think Xiaomi or Leeco you are close, but no cigar!

The biggest surprise of all comes from Asus! They have stated that their next Zenfone Deluxe flagship will be the first to utilize Snapdragon 835, before Samsung, LG, Leeco and Xiaomi!
