OnePlus 3 launch today: Here's all you need to know

OnePlus is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphone - OnePlus3, in India. The company has revealed that it will unveil the handset in a VR launch scheduled to take place on June 14 at 10PM. The Chinese manufacturer has sent out media invites for an India launch event scheduled for June 15.
OnePlus has also announced pop-up events in various cities around the globe, where users will be able to buy the new flagship along with some goodies. The pop-up events will take place in Berlin, New York, Paris and London on June 15. The same will also be organised in Indian cities of Delhi and Mumbai, but the dates are not out yet.
According to an online tipster, the upcoming smartphone will come with a 5.5-inch Full HD display. It is also rumoured to sport a 16MP rear camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 64GB of in-built storage and NFC connectivity.
Other rumoured specifications include a USB type-C port, 4GB or 6GB of RAM and a fingerprint sensor. The handset will likely run the company's custom OxygenOS baked on top ofAndroid 6.0
Marshmallow operating system.
OnePlus 3 will go on sale globally without the invite system. The company has also released a Loop app to watch the VR announcement, and is also giving away the Loop VR headset at Re.1 via Amazon.
