Ducati Is All Set To Launch The XDiavel In India
The wait is finally over! Ducati has been on a roll ever since it came back into India officially. The Italian motorcycle manufacturer has launched the new Multistrada 1200S, the 959 Panigale and the Multistrada Enduro in the last few months and looks to be going on strong with the launch of the XDiavel.

Ducati has sent us an invitation which says that there will be a big announcement on 15 September, 2016, for its next big product. From what we gather, this will be the new XDiavel. The Ducati XDiavel gets a Ducati Testastretta DVT (Desmodromic Variable Timing) 1,262cc engine which churns out a massive 156bhp of peak power at 9,500rpm and 128.9 Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The power and torque can be accessed at early RPMs, giving it a solid mid-range that cruiser motorcycles usually possess.
The final drive is via a belt as opposed to a chain, which again, is a conventional cruiser motorcycle trait. The motorcycle gets three riding modes, which are the Sport, Touring and urban. Along with these modes, the XDiavel also gets Ride by Wire, Ducati Safety Pack (this includes cornering ABS+EBD), traction control and the Ducati Power Launch as well. There will also be cruise control as well.
Internationally, Ducati has two variants of the motorcycle, the XDiavel and the XDiavelS and we believe that both the variants be launched in India. Both the motorcycles have the same engine and the specifications. But where they are different is that the XDiavel S will have a fully LED lighting cluster along with Bluetooth and an infotainment system (on a motorcycle!) and machined finish on the alloys, engine covers and so on. 
We are guessing that Ducati will price the XDiavel in the price bracket of ₹ 15 lakh to ₹ 20 lakh.
