How To Get Reliance Jio 4G SIM: All You Need To Know
Reliance Jio 4G SIM comes with unbelievably low rates for data services coupled with free voice calls across the country. Moreover, getting a Jio connection is also not going to be laced with hassles as now you no longer need to submit separate IDs and photo address proofs for getting a SIM card.
If you carry an Aadhar card and a photograph, you can get a Reliance Jio connection from any Jio store across the country within 15 minutes. “Any Jio customer carrying an Aadhaar card will be able to walk out of a Jio store with a working connection within 15 minutes,” Reliance Industries chief Mukesh Ambani Ambani announced today.
At the Jio store, you will have to fill a form assisted by the store staff and also submit a photograph.
However, the pathbreaking Jio offers come with a catch as you may have to buy a LYF phone which comes in several models starting at as low as Rs 2,999. Other models on the offer cost up to Rs 19,000.
What is more interesting about Jio is that it is offering free data and voice calls until December 31, 2016. So if you chose to buy a Rs 2,999 phone, you would recover the cost much before the free services would expire. Beyond January, you won’t have to pay for voice calls. Moreover, you can get data at as low as Rs 50/GB. The cost would decrease further, as per you increasing use of the 4G data.
The LYF phones come in four variants — Earth, Water, Wind and Flame. The lowest priced Flame 3 is 4-inch phone with 1.5 GHz Quad-Core, 512MB RAM, 4GB Memory, Rear 5MP, Front 2MP Camera and 1700 mAh Battery.

The company has also made Jio sign-up process easy by making it 100% digital. “We have redesigned the Jio sign-up experience and made it 100% digital using an Aadhaar based eKYC process,” Ambani said.
Ambani said that this process will be available at all Jio stores within 4-6 weeks. “With this digital process, we will have the capacity to acquire a million customers a day,” he said.
Besides, the company is also planning to extend the eKYC activation at customers’ doorsteps.
