LG adds special features in K7 smart phone to empower visually impaired people
LG K7 was amongst the first smartphones that LG started manufacturing in India. At the launch of this smartphone in April 2016, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister, Communications and IT, Government of India, had congratulated LG for deciding to start manufacturing smartphones in the country and extended his full support.
Recently LG India has added special features to the K7 that will help the visually impaired people. Some of the features that have been included in the K7 are Screen reading software (Talk back), Text to Screen (TTS) language pack support, Cozy Daisy Book Reader App, Voice Reader App, eReader App, GPS Essential App, Kota Magnifier App, 3 Books preloaded for Daisy Reader, 2 Word Books pre-loaded, 2 PDF Books pre-loaded, Call & Message reading enabled by default and Play Magazine App. LG K-7 is selected as one of the smartphone which were given to differently abled people today in Navsari Gujarat at Samajik Adhikarita Shivir.
The K7 smartphone offers LG’s glossy pebble design, a contemporary, stylish look with a curved, modern finish aimed at a younger audience. The glossy pebble design is complemented by LG’s new 2.5D Arc Glass for a smooth and seamless style that could only be made possible due to the sides of K7 smartphone being free of button clutter. Further, because consumers on the move tend to enjoy an active lifestyle, the K7 is designed with multimedia creation and consumption in mind – with a larger screen to display images and videos captured with the most advanced camera in a smartphone in this category.
On the occasion, Mr. Kim Ki-Wan, Managing Director, LG India said, “We are happy and extremely proud to make the smartphone more relevant for differently abled users, we have included special features to the K7. We hope that by doing this, we will be able to make a small difference to someone’s life and spread happiness.”
