TAC Security Bags The StartUp Of The Year
TAC Security, the cyber-security solutions provider with a mission to anticipate, resolve and mitigate customers’ cyber security risks and challenges so as to make their data and information world safe, secure and seamless, today received the 'Startup of the Year' - IT/ ITES Award at the ASSOCHAM Startup Summit and TechAwards, 2016.
The North India’s first ever Startup Summit &TechAwards is organized by ASSOCHAM in association with Software Technology Parks of India, STPI, Government of Haryana and Government of Punjab. The one-day summit was attended by startups and 30 + speakers including mentors, techgurus, motivational orators, successful entrepreneurs, angel investors, venture capitalists and others.
The interactions revolved around how to give a boost to the sunrise sector in North India, the entrepreneurial spirit existing in the region and the ways in which India’s demographic dividend can be leveraged for India’s advantage. The show also hosted a live pitching session wherein the shortlisted startups contested to the panel of venture capitalists and angel investors for fundraising.

The Summit aims at developing the entire start up eco-system in Northern India - from informing Start Ups with their capital requirements, incubation, issues related to intellectual property, marketing support, financial and technical help to scale up their businesses.
The event included a Round Table and Start Up Clinic, Live Pitching, Unfolding of the Startup Policy, the Startup Awards, Mentor Connect and business networking.
