Apple to launch new MacBook Pro on October 27
Apple is planning to unveil an all new MacBook Pro on October 27 at an event in Apple’s Cupertino headquarters.
Apple sent out invitations to the event across media outlets featuring the words “Hello Again”, recalling the introduction of original Apple Macintosh in 1984 with the word “hello”.
Apple has not updated in its MacBook Pro for over four years now, and the launch of a new MacBook Pro is expected to revamp the original Mac devices altogether.
Rumours suggest that Apple may remove the traditional USB port with USB-C port and MagSafe power connector. According to a Japanese website Macotakara, Apple will introduce two ports, a USB-C port and Apple’s own Thunderbolt port on board the new MacBook Pro.
Apart from this, Apple is also expected to unveil a 13-inch MacBook Air and an iMac.
Apple will begin the event at 10am (7pm IST) on Thursday, October 27.
