Meizu M3s initial impression "Great combination of Design and Performance "
Meizu M3s comes with a price tag of 8,999 INR 7,999 INR and features some really high end specs, Under 10K segment it is certainly one of best device that you may consider buying.
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu has launched an upgraded version of the M3 in India few days ago, dubbed as the Meizu M3s. Meizu M3 comes with two variants, one with 2GB RAM /16GB ROM while upper variant features 3GB RAM/ 32GB ROM.
Design of Meizu M3s
It looks very similar to Meizu M3 which company had released earlier this year. It have a beautiful full metal unibody design which is loaded with fingerprint scanner on the front The right edge of the smartphone comes housing the power button and the volume rocker keys and the left edge has the microSD card slot.
Meizu M3S has added the popular Golden color besides Grey, white, blue and pink that Meizu M3 does, smooth back has also added two slim white line. Home button on the front supports fingerprint ID that Meizu M3 doesn’t have, and mTouch 2.1 for unlocking.
Features of Meizu M3 s
Meizu M3s comes with a 5-inch HD display on the front that has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it has a 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood the smartphone comes packed with an 64-bit, Octa Core, MediaTek MT6750 processor that is further clubbed with Mali T860 GPU to looks after improved graphical performance. The Meizu m3 s mobile phone is offered in two RAM variants of 2GB and 3GB RAM that comes with internal storage of 16GB and 32GB respectively. The device also has a microSD card slot that can be used to expand the storage space up to an extra 128GB.
The Meizu m3s camera department consists of a 13MP primary camera on the rear side that comes with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), dual-tone LED flash etc and on the front the smartphone houses a 5MP secondary camera for selfies and video chats.
The handset is fueled by a 3020 mAh battery and supports Dual SIM usage apart from all other standard connectivity features such as 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS / GLONASS etc. It comes running the custom FlyMe OS 5.1 laid on top of Android v5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

M3s is built using a 360 degree sandblasting technique to give it a “delicate and soft-to-touch texture.” As for the fingerprint reader, it offers a 0.2 second unlock time due to a newly designed fingerprint recognition algorithm, which has also improved the accuracy.
With price of Rs7,999 and 9,299, Meizu M3s offer direct competition to Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Le 2 and Moto E3 Power. We will soon publish detail review of Meizu M3s, till then keep reading.
