Logic behind Radical Web Apps beyond Mobile Apps
The number of people who are spending time online has been on the rise. It is clear that it is not going to drop down any time soon. This is an era of the technology, where everything works on the network grids. People are able to access innumerable websites for information and other purposes as well. It is evident that they have been able to get almost everything online.
Businesses have been turning into online E-commerce websites and they are targeting the customers who spend most of their time on the web. They have started to design the apps for their business as well. It is available for us on the Play Store or the Apps Store to download and use it. Presently, the usage of mobile apps has become predominant in the age of online trading.
Mobile apps have become the essential part of one’s life and it helps us to do many different tasks. But, the applications which are e-commerce bound needs to have an internet access. Without an internet access it is hard for us to even use the app itself. The native apps on the smartphone serve the basic purposes like, calling, texting, mailing, music and videos.
On the flip side, the apps which are available on the store perform a lot more than things. So, people do tend to download and install the apps in their smartphones. These apps may serve the purpose, but still it does have a down side to it as well. For an example, we may think that the app which we have installed is a genuine one, but it may be from a hacker would just want to hack the system and get the information, to get away with it.
Dynamic Web Apps
When we try to install apps in our smartphones, we need to go into the store and then download it. In the case of, progressive web apps (PWA), the scenario is different. All we need is a system with a home screen, where we install the web app. When install a particular web app an icon gets generated
for the app. Once, when we tap on to the icon, we will be directed to the web app.
Mobile apps have become found a permanent home in the world of technologies. There is a new bee in the worlds of the hi-tech, which are the progressive web apps. It is trying to make a strong footing and make it big for the future; it is going to rule the mobile web. The best factor of the app is that, it is combining the web and the apps together.
A progressive web app is different from a native app and hybrid app. Native apps are the apps which are already embedded into the system. Hybrid apps are the ones which have the HTML5 code to it and are accessible only if they are downloaded through the store. It uses the technologies which are available on the web and produces it as an app instead of a tool or software.
Why PWA?
An application should be designed and developed in such in a way that it grabs the attention of the user. We need to make sure that the user who using the particular app does not lose interest over it. A mobile app has to be endorsed, launched, downloaded, installed and certainly we use it at the end. It is not the same, when it comes to the progressive web app.
A user can easily start using a progressive web app once they find it on the web. We do not need to download the app or install the app and wait for it to load to use. It doesn’t even occupy space on the device as much as a mobile app does. It takes all the nuances which a mobile app holds and applies it to the web app, with high performance rate.
Perks of PWA
• A progressive web app is available online and it is easily accessible for the users. We don’t need to go into any kind of apps store to download, install and then use the app.
• It is easy to search for things over a progressive web app than a native or hybrid app. The search engines will be able to fetch the progressive web apps for us.
• When we read something online, it is obvious that we want to share it with others. A website which a good design can use the URI to signify the web app with a bookmark. This will help the users to access the web apps easily and they don’t need to wait for a long time.
