AMD Announces Next-Gen RYZEN CPU Motherboards!
AMD's next (hopefully)killer CPU architecture formally known as "ZEN" now RYZEN now has it's whole range of AM4 socket motherboards announced in Las Vegas CES 2017.
The new 300-series chipset motherboards will be available in various standard form-factors, including ATX, mATX and mini-ITX, and will provide dual-channel DDR4 memory support, support for PCIe NVMe SSDs via M.2/U.2 or PCIe slot, native support for USB 3.1 and more.
The chipsets will be X370, B350 and A320!
As "X" will mark the performance segment, "B" the mid-range and "A" the entry sector.
Funny how AMD chose to use the same prefix for performance and mid-range as INTEL, but I guess they want to make it easier on the consumer.
We also have a few live models to show you from the floor from ASRock and my personal fave - MSI.
RYZEN Architecture will cover everything from Notebooks to High-End Gaming rigs and Workstations, with a quoted ~350$ price for the 8Core/16Thread high end CPU circulating around the web. That will perform close to Intei i7 6900K that costs 1000$+!
What do you think?
Will AMD make it good this time(let's hope it's not another Bulldozer fiasco)?
