Another noticeable thing is the inclusion of IR sensor, with which
you can control your AC, TV and other appliances.

The MTK6753 might be an older Octa-Core chip, but it can still handle
everyday tasks like a champ, coupled with 3GB RAM, huge 64GB
storage and a gorgeous FHD IPS panel, the device feels very premium.

DESIGN
The full metal body has added texture to make it more comfortable to hold.
The back has a slight curve to it and fits "like a glove" in your palm.

The main 16MP camera had a dual-tone LED next to it and below it
lies the fingerprint sensor, which is fast and accurate.
On the top, you'll also find the 3.5mm jack and IR Blaster.

USER INTERFACE
Oukitel use a very stock-like Android experience, with no bloatware apps
You do have a few themes and wallpapers provided in the ROM,
which is always nice to have.
The Navigation Bar can also be customised in the settings.
You can also enable gestures to operate the phone.
Like slide to unlock or wave your hand to switch between
photos or home screens. Pretty standard these days.

To use the IR blaster Oukitel have not designed a custom app
but, instead pack the universal ZaZa Remote app that works great

BENCHMARKS AND PERFORMANCE
As stated previously the MTK6753 was a great chip when it was released,
but by today's standards, it's just OK.
You won't have any problems with browsing and even heavier multi-tasking
since the phone's storage is pretty fast

I find that general performance is definitely not a problem with day-to-day tasks.
Benchmarks like Antutu and Geekbench confirm my claims
Gaming performance is OK if you play not very graphics intensive games, but if you
want to play the heaviest games you'll have to stomach putting the graphics
settings to low-medium, because on high settings games like
Modern Combat 5, Asphalt 8 and Unkilled are unplayable.

The battery inside is 3000mAh and is non-removable.
With it you'll get through the day just fine, but nothing more.
My screen-on-time was between 3-4 Hours depending on my usage

CAMERAS
The Oukitel U13 has a generic MTK camera interface that is very familiar.
Both Back and Front cams do a great job for the price, just don't go expecting
great low-light results, for great to good lighting conditions they provide an
excellent experience, with fast focus and shutter speed.

The camera strengths are definitely in Macro shots and Indoor scenes.
The 16MP Panasonic sensor definitely prefers artificial light to natural light.
The few downside I could find are that colour reproduction was
not very accurate, leaning towards a more saturated blue look
and the pure white having a brownish tint and noise is also present.
The more the light goes down, the more noise the photos will accumulate.
However, on very dark scenes with a single source of light the photos are
very good, if you spot-focus on the illuminated object.

All that being said, I'm definitely pleased with the camera experience
considering this is a 129$ phone!
Oukitel is also releasing updates for their devices, so these issues
can be addressed in the near future.

The front selfie cam is excellent for the price, with face-detection and
HDR available it's truly one of the best in the price range.

Video Quality is OK, definitely a class above most phones at that price range.
OIS also helps for a smoother video on the back cam.
The back camera records 1080p video and the front is capped to 720p.
