Samsung A3,A5 and A7 (2017) Announced - Read All About It
South Korean Smartphone Manufcaturer (not to mention market leader) Samsung has just announced it's mid-range line of Smartphone for 2017.
Without further delay, let's look at the devices and specs of A3, A5 and A7 for 2017!
SAMSUNG A3 (2017)
The A3 is the smallest and cheapest of all the phones, but not too bad as it packs a 4.3-inch HD SUPER AMOLED display with an Exynos 7870 1.6GHz Octa-Core chip(found in the Samsung S5 Neo) and 2GB RAM/ 16GB ROM with SD card slot.
The Samsung signature Front Fingerprint is also present.
It also comes with a 13MP Samsung Camera on the back and 8MP on the Front, with 2350mAh Battery. It's a very welcome upgrade from the previous A3(Quad-Core with 1.5GB RAM), and now with a better camera, it just might be what people are looking for in a smaller phone.
It has a USB-C connector and NFC on board with Samsung Pay.The device offers Gorilla Glass for protection and is IP68 Water and Dustproof certified!
There will be a Single and Dual Nano Sim variant of the device.
SAMSUNG A5 (2017)
The A5 is the mid-point in the series and offers a much larger 5.2-inch FHD SUPER AMOLED panel with the faster Exynos 7880 Octa-Core clocked at 1.9GHz and 3GB RAM with 32GBs of Storage(+mSD).
This is also a good upgrade from last year's A5(1.5GHz Octa-Core with 2GB RAM and 16GB Storage)
The Samsung signature Front Fingerprint is also present.
Theback camera is now upped at 16MP and the battery is up to 3000mAh and the device supports fast charging.
It has a USB-C connector and NFC on board with Samsung Pay.
It is also equipped with Gorilla Glass for protection and IP68 Water and Dust proof certified.
There will be a Single and Dual Nano Sim variant of the device.
SAMSUNG A7 (2017)
The A7 is probably the most boring device, becasuse it's the same as the A5(Exynos 7880 with 3/32GB config), but with a bigger 5.7-inch SUPER AMOLED screen and a bigger 3600mAh battery.
It's essentially an A5 for those who want a bigger screen.The A7 2016 featured a 1.5GHz Octa-Core a 5.5-inch screen and 16GB Storage.
There will be a Single and Dual Nano Sim variant of the device
The dissapointing thing is that all of these headsets will be launched with Android 6.0 instead of the already available for lots of devices Android 7.0 Nougat(not to mention Android 7.1.1 is rolling out for some devices).
The new A-Line offers much improved design and performance over the previous generation and the same Dust and Water protection as the S7.
Looks like Samsung is finally fealling the heat from the competition with their new and better mid-range offerings.
