Huawei Launching Honor V9, Honor 8 Lite and A BIG SURPRISE Phone!
Greetings Smartphone Lovers,
Chinese smartphone behemoth Huawei is quite busy these last few weeks! A few weeks back we were the first to unveil Huawei's newest flagship Huawei P10 (you can read the article HERE) but that was just the icing on the cake, because I know where there is a P-device launching, there is a cheaper, but similar in specs Honor device, just around the corner as well!
With the Mobile World Congress(MWC) coming in just two weeks it's now time for new phones to be unveiled! We'll start with the Honor 8 Lite!
Huawei's Honor 8 was probably the best smartphone of 2016 - packing a great camera, superb performance and style to match any phone released in 2016! Be sure to check out review of the Honor 8 HERE It seems that people were captivated more by the looks than the specs of the Honor 8.
However, lots of people just couldn't afford the price, so Honor is doing a version with a single camera, and a more power-efficient chip. Honor 8 Lite comes with a 5.2-inch display with FHD(1080p) resolution.
Powered by octa-core Kirin 655 processor(same used in Honor 6X) and 3GB of RAM. Internal storage is capped at 16GBs, but can be expanded up to 128GBs with the microSD slot. The camera is the same, but will be a single 12MP shooter, instead of two. Front camera will also remain the same 8MP one.
The Huawei Honor 8 Lite runs Android 7.0 and is powered by a 3000mAh battery, that can last you up to 3 days of usage, thanks to Kirin 655. Price is set to be around 220$ or 15000Rs and will be available at the end of this month!
Now, it's time for the BIG GUNS!
A few weeks back we covered a new Honor device that got certified in China and spotted dual-cameras and Huawe's leading SoC - Kirin 960(8-core CPU with A73 and 8-Core MaliG71 GPU), that is found in Huawei Mate 9!That device was dubbed the Honor V9, and now a few weeks later it is officially announced and coming THIS MONTH!
Endorsed in Asia by Chinese Olympic Gold Medalist Sun Yang the Honor V9
is packing quite the punch with a 5.7 QHD/2K Resolution Display
6GB RAM and 64/128GB Storage with a huge 3900mAh battery!
Honor V9 will also run Android Nougat out of the box with EMUI 5.0!
Honor V9 will continue the Dual-Camera trend with 12MP+12MP cameras
(that's right, some sites got it wrong as 12+2MP)!They won't be the same as the P9/Honor 8, but better with a larger f/2.0 aperture!
On top of that the Honor V9 will be WATERPROOF, but we don't yet know the rating, but expect to be IP67!

I agree that it doesn't look like much, but all those features, including being waterproof and have

Now, for the big SURPRISE BY HUAWEI!
Believe it or not(I had to pinch myself), Huawei are launching not one,
but TWO PHYSICAL KEYBOARD PHONES!
These two lovely blasts from the past will have a 2.4-inch NON-TOUCH display
with 2000 and 3000mAh batteries and will be Extremely Tough!

Both are expected to be extremely tough and offer up to 2 weeks of operation on a single charge!
Don't go thinking these will not be SMARTPHONES, because THEY ARE!
Huawei is packing an Octa-core chip and 2GB RAM/16GB ROM in there, but
they WON'T RUN ANDROID!
Which OS will they use is yet unclear, but there were reports a few months back
that Huawei has asked to cooperate with Samsung on their own TIZEN OS
or it could be a new OS developed by Huawei themselves.
No pricing has been announced, but we should know more by the end of the month.
