Jio Is Now a Big Brother
Reliance Industries Limited has struck the telecom industry with a storm. This year has been a landmark in telecom due to Jio. Millions of people across India have already bought the Reliance Jio SIM for the free data during the trial period.
Now jio is coming up with jio broadband and with other services to disrupt the market again with a bang.Currently jio is supporting 4G enabled phones only and will change the world records if it enters in 3G enabled supporting system . A study by financial services company Credit Suisse, found that Jio is carrying nearly 94% of the total wireless data in the country. After Jio Launch Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular carrying just 2% each of the data traffic but their speed and network are more stable these days. One of the reasons behind Jio’s 4G network speeds being below peers could be the current overloading of their network under the free offer period.
According to the numbers, Jio accounts for 90%+ of all mobile data traffic in India and 35%+ of network capacity in the country. Thus, clearly the network utilisation levels on Jio must be far higher than other networks – which could impact performance. In conclusion, it would be interesting to see how these numbers move once Jio starts charging for it's services.
With 2016 we all bid goodbye to sky rocketing data rates. Even if you are not using Jio, the healthy competition it has brought in market has eventually leaded to slashed data rates. The companies were earlier offering similar kind of plans, now they are all coming up with new, innovative plans that benefit user at the end of the day.
A part of the family budget used to be for phone bills and recharges. The scenario is not the same now, calling and data is all free till 31st March 2017. The plans after 31 March 2017 are peanuts in comparison to pre jio scene.
Jio is the new definition of change. It has changed the way we use internet on our phones. We do not wait for a WiFi zone and live stream data using jio. Hence, We conclude JIO is a revolution we all are a part of.
