Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Rumoured to Launch with Mi 6 on April 19; Mi Note 3 said to Sport 8GB RAM
Xiaomi Mi 6 is all set to launch at an event in Beijing on April 19. Now, it is rumoured that the Chinese giant could also launch the Mi Max 2 alongside. The same was rumoured recently to sport a large 6.44-inch display, 5000 mAh battery and 6GB of RAM. Also, a different source reports the indication of the Mi Note 3 coming soon.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 price and specifications
As the rumours are heading towards the launch of Mi Max 2 at the April 19 event alongside Xiaomi Mi 6, it is suggested that the phone will come in variants 4GB RAM with Snapdragon 626 SoC and 6GB RAM with Snapdragon 660 SoC and will be priced between CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 14,000) and CNY 1,699 (approximately Rs. 15,900) respectively.
The rumour also tips that the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will run on Android latest update 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and will sport a full HD display of 6.44 inches. The phone is expected to possess a large capacity 5000mAh battery. If rumours are to be believed, Xiaomi’s Mi Max 2 will feature a 12MP rear camera with Sony IMX378 sensor and a 5MP selfie camera. Earlier it was expected that Xiaomi would launch Mi Max 2 in May. But, if the latest rumours are to be believed, Xiaomi will launch it on April 19.

There is also a report from China (via PhoneArena), which indicates the launch of Mi Note 3 sometime in the second quarter of this year. Leaked specifications include a 5.7 inch full HD display and the latest Snapdragon 835 SoC with 8GB of RAM. The rumours also suggest that it will come with 2 storage options - 128GB and 256GB. Furthermore, the Mi Note 3 can also sport a dual camera at the back and pack a 4070mAh large battery.
