Zenfone Live 2017 Review : All About Brand Phone
Asus has launched Zenfone live in 2017 to compete with chinese brands. So here is our review .
This looks simple and elegant without any awesome design factor. It’s neither bad nor good, standing somewhere in the middle. It has a metallic finish on the back which feels plastic but offers good grip. At the front, the phone has curved 2.5D glass, but there is no information about the protective layer for the screen.
Asus Zenfone Live is only 8mm thick and carries 120grams of weight. It feels very light on hands and slick to slip easily in your tiny pocket. The sleek phone has curved corners making it a bit attractive.
The Go live phone comes with 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS display with ASUS TruVivid technology and has Bluelight Filter for Eye Care. The screen is really bright and colorful. I was able to use the phone even in direct sunlight. It produces popping colors, letting you enjoy movies and games. Wide angle display, enable you to share the screen with your friends and family.
The phone sports a 5 MP camera at the front with f/2/2 aperture, 82-degree wide view angle and a ‘soft-light’ LED flash and 13 MP at back with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus and LED flash.GoLive
As the phone’s USP is real-time beautification for videos, it comes per-loaded BeautyLive app. The app comes integrated with social channels including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
You can start live streaming video, using the app, where you get option to beautify your face; similar to beautification mode for selfies. It is just like digital makeup so that the subject looks fairer.
Performance
Asus Zenfone Live packs with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor combined with 2 GB RAM and only 16 GB internal memory expandable up to 128 GB via a micro-SD. The 4G LTE phone runs on previous generation Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, based on ZenUI 3.0, which is a bit disappointing.
In terms of performance, the phone is the decent performer, you can enjoy it for games and movies. However, with moderate usage, you won’t find any glitches in the performance. But when you turn to heavy usage or high graphics intensive games, you could notice performance lag.
