DESIGN (4/5)
The smartphone comes with 2.5D glass on the front. On the sides are the lock/unlock button and volume rockers which have a solid build quality. The headphone jack and front-facing camera are located at the top while the micro USB port and speakers are placed at the bottom. The capacitive home key has a built-in fingerprint reader is very sensitive, even at the slightest touch.
The highlight of the smartphone can be narrowed down to its dual camera setup at the rear. The rim enclosing the two cameras causes the smartphone to shake when placed on a flat surface, but this does not hinder users to interact with the smartphone while it's on a table.
PERFORMANCE (4.1/5)
The InFocus Turbo 5 Plus functions smoothly without any lags. The MediaTek MT6750 64-bit octa-core chipset clocked at 1.5GHz handles animations very well. Coupled with 3GB of RAM, multitasking was between apps and webpages was seamless.
InFocus Turbo 5 Plus comes with a full HD 5.5-inch display sporting a 1280x720 pixel resolution. The IPS display panel performs great both outdoors in bright sunlight and also at the lowest brightness settings in darker conditions indoors. Sensitivity of the screen is amazing and is responsive even near the edges.
The fingerprint reader-cum-home button unlocks the phone quickly. But, if the smartphone is placed in your pockets with the scanner facing downwards, you will feel the phone vibrating more often. The fingerprint sensors have been shifted from the back to the front while the former was convinient in the first place .The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with its custom Smile UX. The theme and icon packs have vibrant colours. With the absence of an app drawer
CAMERA (4/5)For its price Range
The cameras on the InFocus Turbo 5 Plus are a mixed bag. Taking pictures using Auto mode in bright outdoor conditions results in crisp images. . The depth effect fails to impress . Users can tap to focus on a particular subject, adjust the aperture settings and watch the software blur a circular section of the image. A new software update is needed to improve the performance features
CONCLUSION
The new Infocus turbo 5 Plus should be a sure buy for those looking for a simple budget smartphone. Its minimalistic price and sturdy outer body undermines its Pros.
I recommend this phone under 9000 price segment. It gives you look of premium phone in Budget purchas.
