Nokia 3310 to Support 4G and Android Based YunOs Next Year
HMD Global, the new home of Nokia mobile brand, resurrected the acclaimed Nokia 3310 feature phone released earlier this year. The HDM Global seems to be adding 4G connectivity and a modern operating system to the feature phone very soon next year.
An updated version of Nokia 3310 with model number Nokia TA-1077 has received certification from TENAA, China’s Telecom Regulatory. The listing on the TENAA website shows the newer version of Nokia 3310 and its key specification i.e. TD-LTE support along with the images. The newer version looks similar to that of the old version of Nokia 3310 released earlier this year.

The listing reveals that the newer version will be running on YunOs also called AliYun OS, a forked version of Android viz developed by China's Alibaba.
The newer version of Nokia 3310 will also get 4G support, which makes it work on the modern telecom Networks in India, including Jio's 4G network. However, the TENAA listing does not reveal the complete specification, so the newer version of Nokia 3310 is most likely to release with similar features as in the current version.
