As expected, Samsung has started rolling out Oreo Beta 4 build to eligible Galaxy S8/S8+ units. The update weighs in at around 850MB, and arrives as software version ZQL8 for both devices.
Oreo beta 4 is all about bug-fixing. That is why the change log
is rather extensive, though it includes things like a fix for the
excessive battery consumption bug, syncing errors with Samsung Cloud,
and the device rebooting while idle. Devices would also randomly vibrate
at times, something that has been fixed with the fourth Oreo beta.
Finally, the fourth Oreo beta includes improved Bluetooth stability. But we don’t know when Samsung will release the final version of Oreo for both devices.
