Asus announced a 12GB RAM variant of its latest flagship-level smartphone ROG Phone 3, which went on sale during the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale starting October 16 and have given cherry on the cake deal during these sales. Asus has been the market leader in the gaming smartphone segment thanks to its ROG Phone series.
It’s got a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with light bezels. Its heavy & aluminium frame means that the smartphone gives users a good grip when playing games but due to 6000 mah battery its weight becomes heavier and makes it not easy to carry phone everytime in your pocket.
The ROG Phone 3 comes with a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display (2340x1080 resolution) with a 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The kicker here is that the display supports a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz (120Hz, 90Hz, and 60Hz, are given as additional options). No other brand is providing these specs currently.
The screen doesn’t come with any punch-hole cut out or a notch and it has rounded corners.
It handles day to day tasks very easily and even handles heavy games such as NFS, pubG, it’s got Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865+ chipset paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM.
Thanks to the new and improved cooling system, the smartphone never heats up when gaming. The speakers are one of the best I’ve used on any smartphone, thanks in part to the new GameFX audio. The improved speakers are particularly useful when playing games.
The ROG Phone 3 is a recommended for every person who loves to play games and wants bigger battery. The 8GB+128GB model is priced at Rs 49,999, while the 12GB+256GB variant comes in at Rs 57,999.
